Privacy Policy for GATEPASS App - Visitor Management
This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which LVM Technologies LLC ("us," "we," or "our") collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the GATEPASS mobile application (the "App") for visitor management purposes. This Privacy Policy applies to the App and all products and services offered by LVM Technologies LLC in the United Arab Emirates, specifically in Dubai.
Information Collection and Use
We collect personal information from Users including, but not limited to:- Visitor's name, email address, and phone number
- Visitor's photograph, nationality, and identification documents, such as passport or Emirates ID
- Visitor's company, contact person, and purpose of visit
- Visitor's location, if location services are enabled
- We collect this information to manage and track visitor access to the premises, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and improve our visitor management services. We may also use this information to communicate with Users regarding the App's updates and new features.
- We may use third-party service providers to assist us in collecting and analyzing the personal information collected from Users.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent Users' personal information to third parties unless we have obtained their consent or are required to do so by law. We may share Users' personal information with our service providers who assist us in operating the App and providing our services, such as cloud storage providers and IT service providers. These service providers are contractually obligated to keep Users' personal information confidential and are prohibited from using Users' personal information for any other purpose.
We may also disclose Users' personal information if we are required to do so by law or if we believe that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect Users' personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We use industry-standard encryption technologies to transmit and store Users' personal information. We restrict access to Users' personal information to authorized personnel only.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of Users' personal information.
Data Retention
We retain Users' personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and as required by law. We may retain Users' personal information even after their accounts are terminated if retention is necessary to comply with our legal obligations or to resolve disputes.
Updates to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Users of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the App. Users are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
